I’ve done dim sum several times for kids parties and the kids gobble up the dumplings. Huge hit.
?? what?? Cava, dumplings, dim sum, etc way too messy, unappealing to most kids (except those with snowflakes), and hard to eat. There's a reason pizza and nuggets are the go-to foods for kid parties.
Do you know what dumplings are? Kids LOVE dumplings!!
Well don’t be surprised when mine clean out the bowl of chips and the fruit platter. Not all kids LOVE dumplings (or falafel or sushi that’s not plain sashimi).
Your kids sound boring, LOL, Seriiously, though, in this area, I've found that kids are much more adventurous eaters than where I'm originally from and I credit that to the diversity of the region. My DD's best friend is Turkish and her parents served homemade Turkish food at her DD's last birthday party (the was two years ago and kid was turning 6). It was a big hit, the trays were cleared out very quickly and she kept bringing out more food!
