I don't know if I would consider us "close," but I think that's just me framing closeness in a way I'd expect siblings who grew up together would be close. Say, 1-4 years apart. He is 10 years younger than I am, so we are close but like... close cousins? Close aunt and nephew? With a different dynamic since we have the same parents, but just not QUITE peers. Especially since my husband is 18 years older than he is, and I've been married since he was a kid. I guess we are reasonably close-- but like different generations. [/quote]
