Aren’t there a lot more Asians and Jews at Michigan as a percentage of the student body compared to other top publics, especially when controlled for the underlying in-state environment?

Unc is not world class. It’s known for MJ and school colors making for nice Nike sneaker colors. Be serious.

Uva is stronger but Michigan is way more known in European and Asian major cities.

I didn’t include California schools naturally given Asian % in state in Cali is much more Asian.

Though I’d be interested to see even if that is true as I noted if you adjusted for the underlying environment.

Looked it up just now — so it seems that UCLA is 1/3 Asian (maybe even less depending on data source) but California is 15% Asian.

U Michigan is 13% Asian but Michigan as a state is 4 % Asian….

…so yeah, U Michigan is def more welcoming of asians.
