It used to make me extremely uncomfortable and I don’t miss it. Like many people said, being hit on is not usually so overt. I remember a guy following me around a department store trying to act helpful. It was worse when i traveled alone, particularly outside the US. For those of you wishing people hit on you, honestly, don’t bother.
