It used to make me extremely uncomfortable and I don’t miss it. Like many people said, being hit on is not usually so overt. I remember a guy following me around a department store trying to act helpful. It was worse when i traveled alone, particularly outside the US. For those of you wishing people hit on you, honestly, don’t bother. You’re not missing much and of all those random conversations that people stated with me I can’t think of one that actually worked out and evolved into a relationship.
