NP here.  Gee, PP, are you my DH????     Our new 6th grader is recently diagnosed HFA.  Video games with friends, and anime, are his passions.  DH catastrophizes daily that this is what our boy will become.  I don't think he is magically going to turn into Elon Musk, Dan Aykroyd or any other "cool" HFA/Aspie success story.   I don't delude myself that his MS report card will be covered with A's and B's like ES or that he's headed to a top college.   I am grateful beyond measure for his perceptiveness, his sense of humor, his intellect, his ability to self-regulate in big public school setting and many other things.  [/quote]
