I'm a teacher and that's exactly what I thought I'd do when I read the PP's post. The NYT recently had an article about a woman with five kids who manages a trailer park. She made half of what I make before covid hit. With unemployment benefits and weekly subsidy payments and what no, she ended up more than doubling her income and she made more than me last year. Meanwhile,I worked 80-hour weeks all of last year trying to create engaging online lessons, got no step increase and a 2% raise for "heroic efforts."[/quote]
