I think that fact and the issues of a white university administration coming down on a new, largely black run program allowed for a noble endeavor to become a major problem for everyone involved. The school did nothing to push “regular” students into the program, there was and is real interest in AFAM. As we are seeing, it’s a hugely important subject matter. It is so important that it deserved a much better effort than was the case. Where did you go to school? [/quote]
