NP. You know that "better than actually banging it out" is the lowest possible bar you could set, right? What both examples describe is a form of affair--not a physical one but definitely an emotional affair, even if you want to claim there's zero emotion involved. Or if you don't accept "affair," well, it's the same as mutual masturbation with someone else in the room, frankly. The fact you're not in the same space but doing it over the phone doesn't somehow make it OK. Neither does "well, at least it's not actual sex together" thinking. Your marriages are broken but you don't want to admit it; if they were fine, you wouldn't need to have phone sex with someone who's not your spouse.
