[/quote] OP here, and I couldn’t agree more. Problem is that DS would rather go to UMD over a lower-ranked school even if it meant giving up a substantial scholarship. That being said, UMD is just so enticing with the price and great programs. While we could certainly afford private colleges, I cannot justify an additional 50k a year when UMD is a great school.[/quote]
