There is something to this. I adore my husband, and he wouldn’t not let me do it, but certainly wouldn’t be supportive. He would think the cost was absurd for something superficial, and he is ridiculously fit so he would probably think that the answer is just working out.

I have a massive scar on my stomach that makes me look seriously deformed and I looked into getting it fixed. It was 4K. DH supported me in doing that (I didn’t wind up going through with it because I thought that was too much money just to fix a scar) but that’s a lot less money and something I couldn’t fix with diet and exercise. (Not that you can fix my stomach flab with diet and exercise because between genetics and pregnancies that is just how my stomach is, but I don’t think DH would believe it). [/quote]
