My children are all under the age of vaccination, so it’s moot to me. But I am honestly really surprised at a lot of people here who are still pro-masking if they themselves are vaccinated. Real-world data of the vaccines is showing that the main ones in the US are at LEAST 90% effective in preventing you from getting symptoms at all. In years other than 2020, the rate of flu deaths after vaccination was higher, so if you were fine with going to school with a flu shot unmasked and taking a risk with your life then, you should be more than fine now (to say nothing of those who never get flu shots and went on their merry way).
