My child has been testing just below grade level all year long. We hired a tutor to work with our child starting last summer. I had signed my child up for summer school, because they would obviously benefit from additional academic strengthening. I'm so sad to lose that opportunity and wildly frustrated that we have to keep spending our money (which is a privilege not every family is able to take advantage of) to make up for the shortfalls and mismanagement of APS.
