Whoa. Where is all this coming from? I actually just got my second Pfizer shot yesterday, and my kid got his first. Show me a single thread where I've advocated against vaccines, or for or against any political candidate. Yes, my kid wants to attend a school without heavy-handed covid restrictions, especially now that he'll be fully immune by the time he gets to campus, and I support that because it's just common sense. Why should he be forced to wear a mask and stay six feet away from others, including the coeds who attracted him to the school in the first place, when he isn't a threat to anyone? But that's a far cry from being some anti-vax conspiracy theorist. Roll Tide![/quote]

We joke here, but I think you really hit a nerve with these people who want to believe that they are right and that huge swaths of people are wrong and  dumber and worse than them. Having to be on a path mentally where they would consider something different (University of Alabama is a good choice, with a lot to offer, for a smart kid) really shakes their foundation. They can't take it.
