I have never bought apple juice for at home for my kids but I deny it to them if that is all that is being offered at a party and all the other kids are drinking it. They never ask for it unless other kids do - and I water it down for them. I don't give it to them bc of the amount of sugar is so high. I am not against juice but at home I buy OJ or Pomegranate or cranberry juice and dilute it a bit. They only get it once in a while but mostly drink milk and water. Moderation is key. I do cringe when I see parents offering it at a party but dont say anything.
Please do tell what is acceptable to serve at birthday parties. Water only? Really?
Really? You cant think of anything else to serve other than water and apple juice?? Out of all the juices, Apple Juice has the highest content of sugar. There are a zillion other juices that are not as bad. Apple Juice makes me cringe bc it is the worst choice IMO. I prefer Honest Kids juices, cranberry, white grape, water and chocolate milk for kids parties. I have never seen any kid complain that there was not any apple juice at any of my kids parties. To each there own.
ITA. You all suck as mothers, but you know, "to each their own"! I'd much rather serve my kid sugary milk than sugary juice. It makes me so much more superior, dontcha know.
