The problem for those who are concerned about the (undeniably less safe) changes to IPL is that the Lafayette principal refused to explain what the teacher changes would be for virtual students, so parents are asked to make a “binding” decision that involves a cost-benefit analysis based on incomplete information.
Lol.
Seriously. And considering what so many other kids have dealt with over the last year, having to switch teachers is not going to permanently harm your precious angel. Your sense of entitlement and privilege is disgusting. Really.
Then them doing another 6 weeks of DL won't kill them either. At our school the upper ES parents didn't want IPL even for Term 4. They are expanding lower ES IPL based on requests and teacher availability. Now I shall wait to be called a WTU Troll or reminded that teachers are useless. My quick retort is I am declaring my WTU income on my taxes and three of our teachers (one my DC doesn't even have anymore) are now seeing kids in person at parks on Wed and the weekends doing activities with them and just playing because they are fully vaccinated. They all can't wait to be back with "their kids".
