Kids can be pretty big jerks, especially from late elementary through 10th grade. It is likely that kids who find the pace incredibly slow and are bored will incorrectly blame kids like your kid for slowing down the class. Placing a bunch of very advanced kids into a classroom with regular kids and below average kids will lead to the advanced kids rolling their eyes whenever a kid asks an easy question, snickering at or mocking the slower kids, or being overly dramatic about how slow and easy the class is. This will not lead to average or below average kids gaining confidence in their abilities. [/quote]
