Illegal immigrants do in fact take jobs that Americans could have. The difference is the wage. Illegals are more willing to work for a lower wage. That's a HUGE difference that folks seem to want to ignore. No one is refusing to do construction work..but what they are refusing to do is to take on such a dangerous job with full benefits and pay at $5.00/hour. No one is refusing to be your child's nanny...but they are refusing to do it for less than minimum wage and no health benefits, etc. Americans just want rock-bottom prices for their shit and illegals are the best way for them to keep up with the Joneses.[/quote]
