All the examples here are of famous people or companies. Where are the comparable examples of random people living just a normal life that get plucked up by conservatives and cancelled so that they can't just be anonymous people anymore going about their own lives but instead risk losing their jobs, etc? That's the part of cancel culture that has me concerned - not whether someone picks Target to shop at, Coke to drink, or decides not to buy X person's new book/album/movie. - Dem voter (middle of the road though)
Are you serious? Just think about how many every day conservatives have "canceled" normal people out of their lives for being gay. And that's not new. Of course, the irony is that some of those conservatives are closeted gays. Do you think very conservatives private schools would allow a teacher who is gay to stay on? Most do not. They get fired. I say this as a Christian.
