It’s despicable how the Americans act so interested in culture and art when they’re overseas but have no interest once they’re back home. According to Natalya, Mike showed interest in culture and supposedly going to museums while in Europe; but in the US he’s totally content with doing nothing after getting home and enjoying his beer. The same is for Jovi and Yara who got together because of their love of travel. Yara probably wanted to get away from Ukrainians abs Russian men as they are known for drinking a lot, but her US man does not seem to be much different. These men should be honest and not portray themselves in a different way just to appeal to these women.
I don't think its they are portraying themselves differently, its because they are on vacation when they are visiting the other countries. How is Mike supposed to take Natalie to museums when he has to work full time? I think he said his commute is 3 hours to the city. Probably doesn't want to do that on the weekends too. These women and men who come over here should plan on being pretty bored until they can get married and get work visas. I think it ridiculous how much they complain. Except for Julia. She shouldn't have to work on the farm, but she could clean and organize their bedrooms better.
