These threads become meaningless real fast. Everyone is just throwing names around. It makes no sense and not helpful at all.
Agree. However, I think that SMCM and College of Wooster are useful, on point suggestions. (I really do, but I recognize the irony of my post.)
Agree, as is Juniata and St. Olaf. OP, a few others to think about: Baylor - good merit aid, several honors tracks to choose from (honors, BIC, IS, and great texts), medium size school with HUGE school spirit and fun traditions, people on here act like it's fundy, but I've been there and it is not. Mount St. Mary's in Emmittsburg, MD. Good merit, easy to get into, my BFF's kids went there, loved it, and got multiple offers for law and grad programs. Both are very successful. Maybe too far and too big but ASU Barrett Honors program - really good merit aid for OOS students, it's a big school with a party rep but the Barrett program is limited to 6000 students and they have an entire community on campus dedicated only to Barrett and it's one of the few schools that has enough honors housing for all the honors students.
