Not all teachers wanted DL!! And there were some who had to stay DL for various reasons. Parents who constantly tear us apart are not helping. This is hard on everyone and burnout will be huge.
Again, complaining about burnout from the method teaches forced is ridiculous. Obviously not every teacher was in favor of what the group forced and obviously some have legitimate health considerations that are addressed under the ADA.
You're funny, at the end of the day WHO was in charge of meeting safety metrics and not caring if teachers 'threatened' or participated in a strike? Why did it take DCPS and the mayor 11 months to get HVAC systems in place and meet other safety metrics? Why did it take 11 months to say, 'no, you'll be working in person if you legally have to.' The sickout didn't even have half of teachers participate. You've been seeing what the WTU has asked for and keep saying they shift the goalposts but what did the mayor and chancellor do to combat that? Nothing. You can continue to vilify teachers but it will not get more students back in person, I promise.
