It is totally normal to have kids in your 40s, it is a more modern concept to stop at two or three.[/quote] Yep, pre birth control the age of the mother at last child was on average in the 40s (assuming mother wasn't widowed, died in childbirth, etc.) we're LDS and my grandmothers and great grandmothers all had their first by 20 (sometimes earlier, my mom was born when my grandmother was 18 and she was the second) and their last around 40+. Not unusual to have a 20 year spread between kids. [/quote]
