Uh, he's been placed on leave, so apparently public school isn't quite the "anything goes" circus you imagine.  If he was, in fact, in the Capitol Building or otherwise participated in the storming of it, he committed a crime in the course of attempting sedition, and he should be fired.

I'm also shocked that people who are conservative WANT to align those MAGA rioters/ seditionist inside the capitol as being "with them". It is commons sense to try to put as much distance between those idiots and themselves . [/quote]

As a liberal I actually believe in justice for everyone, not just people who agree with my views of the world. If this guy committed a crime, like breaking into the capitol or assaulting police, then by all means he should be fired. But he should not be fired for simply attending a protest. It's very scary to read some of the responses on this thread.[/quote]
