I live in Ashburn and  all my friends work in the tech sector and exactly zero commute to DC. My DH and I are in IT sales to the government.  We work exclusively from home. He visits his customer is Chantilly and my customer is actually spread out between Oklahoma, Denver, Leesburg, and Miami. 20% of my job requires a plane ride and 80% is over the phone.

It's amusing how ignorant people are and don't realize their are thousands and thousands of high paying jobs all.between Tysons and Ashburn.

Maybe because we are in IT sales and all our friends are in tech, but I just don't know anyone who commutes into DC.

I'm sooo grateful we have jobs that allow us to live here

In regards to the housing.maekrt it was been great. We've napped up a bunch of townhouse rentals in Ashburn Fram and Village and those are doing very well and I'm enjoying watching the appreciation. [/quote]
