APS vaccination plan: Send out the link to some staff ( miss SpEd and mental health). Have staff sign up for an appt, but don’t give confirmation. Some staff will keep trying, eventually obtaining up to 29 slots. (Those people needed to chill) Staff then cancel extra slots when confirmation shows up an hour later. APS send out email that confirmation is not confirmation. Maybe no one really has an appt. Why does APS always have to pull an APS?
Earlier this week "APS sucks! they haven't signed us up for vaccines!" Later this week "APS sucks! They are trying to sign us up for vaccines!"
It is taking all of my restraint to not pointedly remind the teachers that they are jumping the line in front of COUNTLESS people who desperately want to receive the vaccine, and are doing so with a continued anthem of being resistant to returning to school while they receive those prioritized "essential" worker vaccines. It is so demoralizing and disappointing to watch.
