We were talking about our children and she shared with me that they named their youngest Ruby because they love old fashioned names. No she wasn't. If her friend is the type to be upset that her daughter shares a dog's name, s[b]he should have chosen something that no one would name their dog. Ruby is right in the cute, two-syllable sweet spot for dogs (see: Lucy, Bella, Lana, Ava, Lila, etc.).[/b][/quote]

Like what? It’s a name, and you can give a name to many things.

Our neighbours have a cat that shares DDs name. DD and neighbours DD are friends and play often in our connected yards. Cat is a roamer. Sometimes it’s hilarious trying to explain WHICH of the creatures is in trouble for wrecking the garden  😂[/quote]
