I had a huge gut and got liposuction. When I left surgery, I was down 10 pounds. The anesthesiologist said (in the middle of a packed waiting room) it was the biggest liposuction he had ever seen in his life. They went over the amount they planned to take out, because there was so much fat. Anyway. I’m happy with the results, but that comment still hurts. It was in Los Angeles, where the beauty standards are so skinny. I’m still not skinny, I’m a size 10, but without that huge stomach at least I am proportioned now.
Does it still look good? I know someone who had a gut liposuctioned and said she gained roughly the same amount in her waist back. So while she now has a flat tummy she no longer has the hourglass figure fr9m before. Makes me nervous to do it.
Ironically when I do gain weight, it goes to my boobs! I did lipo in so many places on that surgery, it has nowhere else to go! I had lipo on my stomach, flanks, inner thighs, back, hips. I think a little also goes to my arms and legs, but I was always small arms and legs with a big stomach so it evens out. I had the lipo 12 years ago.
