OP, I get it.  My mom is very hard of hearing, and she's totally isolated and depressed now, because she can't understand anyone who is wearing a mask...she depends heavily on being able to read lips, and that is of course impossible now.  She has health issues, and navigating her medical appointments with everyone masked up has been a nightmare for her.

I may have missed it, but...are your kids in daycare or preschool?  Exposed to other children?  We have a 4yo and an infant, they've been home with us for the past month and have seen no one else in that time, and both had negative covid tests 2 weeks ago.  We are hosting my parents tomorrow...inside.  But we've all been isolating for weeks to make this possible.[/quote]
