Of course. We love to start lazy weekend mornings with family snuggles in bed. And our kids know they can come in if they’ve had a bad dream. If the door is closed they are supposed to knock. But otherwise they know we’re always available if they need us.
I took OP's question to be more about whether the kids are allowed to play and hang out in the room when the parents aren't there. Not "are the kids allowed to come to you when you are in your bedroom".
Oh sure, I guess they’d be allowed to, but they never do go in there when we’re not in there. Our bedroom is fairly minimalist, not even a tv. Nothing for them to play with. So they don’t have much interest. Occasionally my 3 year old will go grab some of my shoes and walk around in them, which is cute. And I’ve had to tell them no jumping on our bed on a few occasions. But mostly they don’t go in there when we’re not around.
