They know exactly what a 3.6 or 3.9 GPA means at each one, and don't need test scores to normalize the grades. It's the kid from some unknown HS in Missouri applying to Harvard who gets hurt by tough grades because Harvard has no idea what a 3.9 there means.[/quote]
