I voted for him because he’s a moderate and was the only one in the party with the power to make Bernie, Warren, AOC, and others on the left behave themselves.  Another 4 years of Trump would have swung the Dems farther to the left.  Biden saved the party from the wackos.  He definitely has his work cut out for him but he’s assembling a good team.  He knows this town and how it gets done in government.  He will not govern by tweet.  The adults are in charge.[/quote]

My reasoning exactly.  Trump was the best thing that happened for the Left.  Movements many of us barely knew existed have been so energized and legitimized over the past 4 years.  Without Trump, I think there is no way what the Falls Church School Board did yesterday could have happened (taking Thomas Jefferson off of a school name) in moderate mainstream Fairfax County.  I can't even imaging how four more years of Trump would have fueled the Left.  I think there are many moderate Democrats who either found common cause with the Left or refrained from criticizing different Left movements due to Trump.[/quote]
