He does try to sell his gallery and I think his loft when Dan wants to go to Yale but Dan stops his dad. Lily also tries to secretly pay for Dan to go to Yale but Rufus won’t let her. I don’t understand why they didn’t have them all go to Columbia instead of NYU. I hated that storyline (and dislike Vanessa). [/quote]
