But not everyone can afford to retake because it normally means paying for a college as they will have left school by that point. So it is really a means for the wealthy to get another shot at it. When I took my A levels in 1987 my BF had bombed his in Chemistry, Math and Physics. CCD. He retook and got BBB and a place at UCL to study Economics. He is now a multi millionaire who has worked in the US / UK and Far East.[/quote]
