Big Surprise. Seriously, though, DCPS is going downhill when lousy leaders like Monica Aguirre of Oyster receive leadership awards for towing the line and leaders like Kim are left with no option but to leave because they are frustrated with the current system.
 Back under the bridge troll.
I'm a DCPS parent of more than a decade. I find this "troll" accusation just stupid. It is completely relevant to consider that the somewhat muted applause for the "leadership awards" are a depressing contrast to the real leadership and transformation Kim has put into Deal. How were these "leadership awards" decided? Was Kim up for considerate? I don't for a second believe a talent and confident woman like Kim would stake her career on such trivialities, but "get under the bridge" is aligning yourself with parents who should never question DCPS. We should all question DCPS every single day. And yes, it's an insult that Aguirre would receive a leadership award and an incredible leader of record, as Kim is, is departing before the school year is even half way out. Something is wrong with the DCPS system.
