It is rare, rare, rare in MD to have signs in your yard in MOCO except in maybe Takoma Park... where they need to telegraph their every thought.

That's not really true, historically.  We last home shopped in 2004, and campaign signs were quite prevalent at the time.  It was actually somewhat helpful to us as we were relatively new to the area.  And yes, there was still some diversity of thought at that time.  It was not all one way (or the other, obviously).[/quote]
