The VEA advocated for, and successfully saw enactment of HB 582, which was signed by the governor this September. The legislation gives public teachers, among other groups, collective bargaining rights. This will not be implemented until May of 2021. Collective bargaining rights are a cornerstone of unions. Do with this information as you wish.
It’s a union in practice. Thank you for presenting facts. Waiting to hear when Duran has ever taken a position in opposition to VEA.
Amazing to see the BS people make up. . Used to live in PA where there are teacher unions. Strike in my districts closed schools, no pandemic needed. . VA teachers work to contract hours, school continues. . This has not happened in Arlington. Could you at least get a better understanding about the things you post.
Still waiting.
