This is such a mysogynist subservient thread. The title alone makes me puke. RBG is rolling over in her grave.
Now RBG had a great marriage, exactly the kind of marriage to which I hope my daughter aspires. Mine is close, though DH can't cook sadly. Partnerships come in different forms, but this is the kind I prefer to model for my kids.
Ab-suh-f@king-lutely!
+100 Wonderful love story. Wonderful marriage. They remind me a lot of how my parents supported one another and the undying love they had their entire marriage. That’s why I don’t understand 99% of the dysfunction and broken people on this Board. I was lucky to be raised by a father and mother that taught me girls could do anything, I should always have my own income and never settle. They told me not to rely on my beauty ...in fact it was never mentioned in our house. It was from people in the outside that would tell me how beautiful I was. My parents valued hard work and character and didn’t praise superficial things. It allowed me to play a competitive contact sport at the collegiate level and go into a STEM field...and find a mate that loved my brain as well as my hotness. He often brags about my job to others.
