My husband is also a "gifted" person who absolutely rejects that term and thinks it is racist and doesn't correlate with outcomes. To him, the only quality that correlates with success is the ability to do the work.[/quote] I'm the PP and completely agree. (And I will point to my many typos above as partial proof.) To the poster above who mentioned teachers, I wholeheartedly agree. I just don't think that pulling kids out into special programs is the answer, or even *an* answer.[/quote]
