Also, I know your 5 year old "wants" you all to play together, but this might be a good chance for her to (finally?) learn that she can't always get everything she wants.
That's true. I've seen many babies and kids developing serious anxiety. They didnt learn to be patient. Even a 1 year old in a half is more patient than a 9 year old. You can't have always what you want. And because of covid, I wouldn't go outside. Many walking a few blocks for 25 minutes. It's because there's people walking, running and even worse without wearing a mask and passing next to us. My family I work are nice and awesome. I do what i want because I'm with the kids and know what they need, what they had and they're good at home. We do crafts, read, watch tv while I make lunch. Watch museums online, it's been awesome. Everyone is tired and exhausted because of this pandemic and not much people wants and have energy to go out to the street. I'm happy with the backyard and sometimes we go out in a stroller.
