I really “feel” this post, as the teens say. I’m really kind of sick of the whole OLD thing. I would be happy to just have a roommate, but all my friends are married so I guess I have to wait until a spouse dies?

It really at some point becomes about companionship. I mean, yes, I love sex, but I am just not going to jump into it. Maybe a FWB is more my speed.

I don’t think I am thriving, especially compared to my ex. But I also feel I am wiser. He took up with his woman literally the second we divorced, and they were “close friends” before that (who believes this?). I feel I have learned a lot from the two major failed relationships I have had since marriage. I am not really wanting to put myself out there again.[/quote]
