Horse farm? haha. This is a soccer thread not a TENNIS thread. I guess you don't understand how soccer works, besides Coaches in top clubs are still getting paid. I am not getting my money back for the season. Decent and well respected Clubs are paying their coaches for sure. I have a big back yard as well and my kids train on Zoom with their coaches and then on their own. They don' need anyone to come over and do what they already know how to do and are discipline enough to do it on their own.
You're missing the point. The point is that coaches from well respected club are also doing private coaching for wealthy clients. For many of these coaches, coaching is probably not their primary income. They might have been layoff from their primary job and they need additional income to support their families. FWIW, there are many coaches and kids from Virginia that travel to Maryland public park to train everyday during the pandemic. The most obvious example is the open field right across the Congressional Country Club. The parking lot for the park is closed but one can park on the side road and walk to the field. Both Mclean and Langley HS football field and track are opened today. My kid and his coach will be out there for his private lessons starting tomorrow.
I don’t believe any parks in MoCo are open. But while all public schools and school grounds are closed, I noticed many kids and trainers/coaches at Julius West Middle School turf fields doing private soccer training.
+1 I too noticed that many soccer coaches from well respected clubs doing private soccer training at Robert Frost Middle School in Rockville for the past two months at the beginning of the lock down. That field has always been opened throughout the lock down.
