The problem is when they gather under the tent and share food and drinks.
seems like an easy issue to overcome. I don't see a lot of kids slurping on each other in the first place.
Boys are dense, they pick up whatever water bottle is closest. Do you have a girl? No hugging?
Wow. You are really into fighting for a really dumb side of an argument. You are aware you have probably already contracted it, the days are getting warmer and the numbers are going down - right? Do you even enjoy the atmosphere or just see it as a necessary evil and you'd prefer to live in a cave?
Wow! you sure are defensive. I actually don't care if kids play lacrosse but if you reasoning is because they don't touch each other it's a dense reason. They will hug, they will share drinks, they will share food, they will sit with each other between games and on the sidelines. Both my D1 lacrosse sons probably already had it (both sick and their schools made them quarantine for 4 weeks) so I am not really concerned about me but I'm not a sociopath so I am actually concerned for others too.
Do you also know Hoganlax and other tournament organizers haven't cancelled any tournaments yet and there are tournaments going to take place in Colorado and Florida as soon as school ends.
Do you know I don't care. All I'm saying is if you think it's "safe" because they don't touch each other during the game you are not thinking. Also, I think most things will be open June 15th. Possibly back to <50 gatherings, but mostly back to normal by July 1. did you see the refrigerated morgue at Suburban... maybe I'm wrong.
Do you know you are wrong? Did you read the article or just the headline? Suburban was offered a mobile morgue and they accepted.
Like many other health care providers locally and nationally, we have accepted a mobile morgue unit, in the form of a refrigerated truck, in an effort to be prepared and with the hope of never needing it,
It's posts like yours spreading over wrought anxiety and fear. But I like how you are screaming about how the sky is falling and then hedging with the opening in June and July comment.
You are totally reading my post through the lenses of your own bias. I think we will be open in June... also maybe I'm wrong since Suburban just accepted a mobile morgue. Also, I think people who say lax is safe BECAUSE THEY DON'T TOUCH THE BALL are not thinking because the kids drink out of the same water and hug and share food. I'm not saying they should play or not play I'm just pointing out how illogical it is to say they can play BECAUSE THEY DON'T TOUCH EACH OTHER. I think they will play because we will have hit the peak for over 60 days 3000 people in MD will die and deaths will decline.... , and old people will still be in a stay at home order. I might not send my kid with asthma or diabetes. Hey but I might be wrong.
