I don't think she understood the job.  She doesn't even make sense when she talks.  She needs to learn that big words do not necessarily mean anything if you are not communicating your point.  The point of words is communication.  
I also thought the Chair could have been kinder, but Omeish is not the student rep.  She was elected to do a job for which she appears unfit.

First there was the Democrats' original decision to let her stack the committee with high school kids, many of whom weren't even eligible to vote in the general election (did anyone ask how they got the money to pay the FCDC membership fees).  That's how she kept Moon from getting endorsed despite his seniority.

Then there was the voters' decision to vote a straight-line D ticket even though there were better at-large alternatives, especially Cheryl Buford.  I know people in Fairfax hate Trump and some of the far-right Republican candidates like Corey Stewart, but Buford was only slightly right-of-center.

It feels like we bought ourselves four years of unfocused gibberish from Omeish when we could have done better.  Maybe she'll get the hang of it eventually, but she needs to step up her game. [/quote]
