Michigan has one of the fastest growing case rates in the U.S. Hospitals and Hospital workers are overwhelmed. Michigan is one of the most obese states in the union, and people there are generally unhealthy. I have family members with preexisting conditions, family members over 80 and family members in nursing homes in Michigan. We’re starting to see from New York that drastic measures pay off. NYC is flattening faster that other parts of the state. I personally think it’s better to frontload the pain rather than to take measures that would only increase and prolong the spread. More than 44,000 people died in only a matter of weeks.[/quote]
