I can't work without childcare, and I'm trying to figure out when to take my 2 weeks of paid emergency sick leave per the Families First Coronavirus Response Act so I can isolate my family. It seems to make sense to make it overlap with the projected peak. Any insights?
OP - look at the emergency FMLA. It's up to 10 weeks after the emergency sick leave, paid at 2/3 (maximum $200/day). Not sure if that will work for you but it would give you more time than the 2 weeks. https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/WHD/posters/FFCRA_Poster_WH1422_Federal.pdf
