No. My kids last went to school on March 6. It was so apparent things were going to get bad that we did not send them the next week. The only way you could think getting on a cruise was ok is if you were not paying attention or have no clue how to assess risk. [/quote]

I saw the hysteria mounting and really had expected it to die down based on the actual numbers.  That did not happen, though.

Regardless, we were never in danger of not getting back into the country.  Our biggest danger was perhaps having one of the ports closed  but that did not seem likely.  Worst case scenario was that we would not be able to port and spend more days at sea than planned.

Wow.  Since my cruise departed on March 7th maybe the prudent thing to do would have been to jump off the ship and swim back the minute they issued that warning?

I don't know what you want me to say. I am very glad that I got to go on that cruise.  School was still open that week. It all went off without a hitch. I'd say that the timing worked out well for us not so great for the passengers on the next cruise though.[/quote]
