There’s no pleasing some people. MCPS provides chrome books so all students can participate in virtual learning and all you do is think of another problem that is so easy to solve. You need to get a life and worry about more important things.

It is a legit concern but the PPs suggestion re: offering to wipe them all down is a reasonable one.  People who complain without offering to be a part of the solution are just background noise.[/quote]

I’m the person who wrote about being concerned about chromebooks being disinfected. I’m a teacher in MCPS and I’m also immunocompromised. At my school we are not allowed to have kids use Clorox wipes or any spray cleaner, so I do it for them while wearing gloves. I know many teachers who never clean the chromebooks their students use. I hope parents are cleaning the ones they’re picking up from schools and will also clean them before returning them to schools.

But, no, I’m not going to offer to go to the school and clean all the chromebooks in our current status. People can take a little personal responsibility if they’re using a device provided by the school. [/quote]
