This first episode was awful, right? Roger’s pasty, hairy body; geriatric soft porn; Jamie’s and Claire’s silver streaked hair. The list goes on. How must can one human endure?
I'm dying here!  ALSO - SPOILERS TO FOLLOW I found this episode perfectly acceptable, with one major exception: I don't need the William Bonnet being alive plotline. Brianna facing him in the jail was a good ending to that storyline. It's just way, way too reminiscent of the same plot device they've used since season 1 - a horrible villain who just can't die. We've dealt with Jamie's rape, Claire's many close calls, and Brianna's rape. Cut it out. I'm just kind of losing interest, TBH. I sort of don't care what happens with our characters during the American Revolution (seems like it will be a re-tread of what happened in Scotland, at least day to day).
As someone who has read the books, I suggest you get comfortable with the Bonnet plot line or don’t watch this season.
