What do people think about Johns Hopkins? Do they have good support system for mental health? Depression and other mental health issues are not just problems of people with history of such illness. Mental health affects many students and faculty, and became very common problems in college campuses.
I can't comment on their services, which is important, but so is the culture. I think Hopkins would attract a very grade-obsessed kid, many of whom are gunning for med school (which is extremely competitive). If I was seriously worried about my child's mental health, ability to cope and self esteem...I would want them in a more healthy, balanced, laid back environment.
