If Elizabeth Warren was my strong first choice, this would be a mild ding against her. I'm still making up my mind as to who is my first choice, and this behavior reminds me of Trump (refusing to shake hands, putting something inflammatory out there so he either agrees with her or is "calling her a liar.") Definitely not a good move for her. I could see them having discussed something like who would be most electable, in private. I don't think whatever was discussed should be public record. That is, if Bernie said something honest like "I don't know if America is ready to elect its first woman president" I don't see any good reason to share that on stage at a debate.
Why not? That says something about Bernie's mindset. He has never been supportive of women's issues. Why is it wrong for voter's to know that?
You mean he’s not wasted a lot of time reciting the cliches of rich women who like to think they can define “women’s issues”. M4A and economic justice as advocated by Bernie would do massively more to improve more women’s lives (on an absolute and relative basis, btw) than all that crap professional feminists like to whine about.
